This Saturday Matthew Gamble will be speaking at 24-Seven’s BCC campus. Bible Classes begin at 10:15 a.m. with our worship service starting at 11:30 a.m.
We will have a pot-luck stlye fellowship Banquet following our service.
Last time, we looked at what the Bible says about those who have died. Now we look at whether it’s really important to know the truth about death. What would Satan gain by deceiving us about the state of the dead?
Pastor Steve Leddy examines the Biblical exhortations that we must know and follow the truth, and not yield to deceptions. Additionally, Steve discusses the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in-depth. Many people consider the parable as proof of immediate Heaven and Hell, but is that really what Jesus is saying?
Our BCC service Saturday, November 15, will be held in the Cafeteria - “C” Building this week. Just follow our directional signs. Call if you need directions or get lost 206-391-3383.
Pastor Steve Leddy looks at one of the biggest deceptions of all time, started way back in Genesis when the serpent said to Eve: “You shall not surely die”. Tempers often flare at this hot topic of debate: What happens when you die? See what the Bible really says about death.
Pastor Gary Curry asks us to imagine a world without grace - unfortunately we don’t have to look very far to find examples of evil in this world. Gary asks us to remember that God can extend His hand of forgiveness to even the worst of sinners - terrorists, serial murderers, violent dictators, and so on, when justice demands their condemnation. Of course, if God only gave His grace to those who deserved it, not a single one of us would be saved. How wonderful it is to have a God who paid the price for us that we might be saved by His grace.
Pastor Steve Leddy delves into John 13, where Jesus gives us a new commandment: “As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” What a huge honor and responsibility it is to be the ones to convey the love of Jesus to everyone we meet.
Jesus also prayed that we as His church would act as one, like millions of snowflakes forming a huge glacier to change the landscape of the hearts of the people.
We love when guest pastor Gayle Lasher comes in to talk - this week, Gayle comes with the vivid message that we must live like it’s real - that Jesus really is coming! Though don’t literally see Him off in the distance coming closer, we know He’s coming and we have to be ready!
Gayle is holding an evangelistic series called Peace Amid the Chaos starting next Friday night (October 17) at 7 PM at the Bellevue Adventist Church. For more info (and to pre-register!) head to www.peaceamidthechaos.com.
Pastor Gary Curry returns to the book of Acts to find out what the early Christian church was really like. The early church members didn’t have huge church buildings - they met in each other’s homes, in small groups. In today’s large churches it’s hard to feel like you belong unless you’re part of a small group within your church, to fellowship and encourage one another.
Having finished our Romans series, Pastor Steve Leddy takes some time to remind us what 24-Seven’s core mission, goals, and values are. 24-Seven’s motto is “Accepting. Exciting. Real.” and we strive to be all three.
This one’s an excellent video as an introduction to 24-Seven Ministry Center!
