(this last Sabbath, the 17th) Left them (I’m pretty sure, anyway, that’s the last time I remember them) on the hook thing on the door. I know this is grasping for straws (or grasping for keys really LOL) I called the college and left messages on Saturday, they called Monday to say that they would report to me if anyone turned them in. They haven’t called. Just wondering if someone might have found these. There are about 7 keys, and the keyring has a car shaped rubber thinngy that says Hertz on it. Also has my gym tag that I sign in with. Sure hope someone saw those and maybe has them.

Just wanted to say how fun it was to see everyone again:) The speaker was absolutely wonderful. She had so many great things to “take away”. About sharing your faith. Such wonderful ideas.

Well, I hope everyone had as good of a time as I did in the woods of Rainbow Lodge. What a haven:)

Did anyone follow-up with the mentoring, etc? It will be exciting to hear more about that as it unfolds. I will be relaying the information she shared with our pastor’s wife, as well....

As Christians we know that God is coming sooner than most people expect. But what about most people, what do they think is going on? They see the Pope announcing that America needs help. The Dali Lama and his tribe of spokes persons from every major world religion and that they are calling everyone to work together. Ecumenism is casting its doctrine damping nets across the globe. The third biggest religion in USA 2007 was Pagan and its growing fast. Horoscopes, and psychics, various forms of damaging meditation, and veneration of the dead are everywhere. The climate continues to teeter more rapidly than scientists ever predicted.

No, it was never supposed to snow in Central Africa.
And I just had four consecutive days of on/off snow/hail in MID APRIL here in Seattle. We are passing the Seven Billion mark in our world population. AND there are the occasional people who will tell me to calm down, nothing is going to happen, it will get back to comfy in a few decades.. Oh yeah? What about the work the Holy Spirit is doing? The Latter Rain may be scattered. But it has begun. In just 6 months our church gained 6 prayer teams. We have seen terminal illness, serious injuries, spiritual darkness all healed, and I am hearing from more and more places around the world that miracles and genuine speaking in Tongues are becoming more common. I am seeing Bible studies revealing aspects of Gods unbelievable Love and his 100 percent accurate prophesies blow the mind. Seek first the Kingdom of God and his Righteousness! OR Keep your eyes on the PRIZE and let the world fall around you in rubble, and try to know the next step in helping others out of the rubble.

I’m new to this site, but it sounds like a great place.
I have some questions that maybe you could answer.
1. I am studying the subject of Ellen White as a prophet. I am currently reading the book by Rene Noorbergen “Prophet of Destiny” and on pages 21/22 there is a list of tests for a prophet. Are these Adventist tests or are these pretty mainstream also? We are trying to get a feel for how to test a prophet by the Bible and only the Bible. I personally have no problem with Ellen White as a prophet, but some of my friends are questioning. I think it’s a great way to really test what you believe, so it’s a lot of fun to find that what I believe is right. Even if my other friends never learn anything, I am!

2. In Paul’s writings he says that women are to sit quietly in church, not teach, or preach. Is that true for today or is it just a cultural thing for that time? I have no problem either way I guess, but Shane & I were discussing it. He thinks that it was a cultural thing or that Paul put his feelings in there and it’s what Paul felt was best. I said that the Bible was not a place for someone opinion. If there’s opinions in the Bible, then how are we to discern the difference?

Maybe this seems silly, but its important to me. I like to question things so that I know what I think I know. There’s no hurry in answering, I am patient & understand that you are very busy. Thank you!!

Sincerely,

You are encouraged to come up with the most bizarre facts possible!

The angler fish is a lonely creature of the deep sea. When a male happens to find a female he bites into her flesh with his wicked long teeth. The damage causes scarring and the formation of new blood vessles. The male soon becomes part of the females circulatory system and gets his nutrients from her. Basically their flesh merges and often his entire body is encased in an envelope of fleh. Its not paracytic though because as soon as she drops her eggs, he is there to fertilize them.

In this picture a male has recently attached to the female. Males are much smaller than females in this species to facilitate this lifestyle...JELOUS?

Yesterday I watched the 2006 documentary “Jesus Camp”. In some ways I felt like what the people in the movie were doing was amazing (in a good way), but probably a good majority of the movie was disturbing to me. It seemed as though they were portraying that all Christian children are brainwashed. There was a short clip at the very end where a radio talk-show host gave his opinion on the camp, and what they were achieving there. Has anyone seen this movie and if so, what do you think about it? Did anyone else get the impression that this documentary will scare people away from Christianity more than bring people to Christ?
