The angler fish is a lonely creature of the deep sea. When a male happens to find a female he bites into her flesh with his wicked long teeth. The damage causes scarring and the formation of new blood vessles. The male soon becomes part of the females circulatory system and gets his nutrients from her. Basically their flesh merges and often his entire body is encased in an envelope of fleh. Its not paracytic though because as soon as she drops her eggs, he is there to fertilize them.

The best place to hide in an earthquake is NOT under an object as is commonly beleived and definatly not under a door! Rather it is beside the object. imagine everything falling flat and beside the thickest strongest objects there is a triangular gap. it is in these gaps that survivors are found. If there is an earthquake at night roll off of your bed and lay beside it.
