smile God has been calling me to help grow an excellent program for our Kindergarten Sabbath School classes here at 24-7.  If this is your calling too, please contact me or Pastor Steve.  In the beginning we will have ages 0 to 5/6 (until they can read).  As we grow we will have a Nursery group and a Kindergarten group.  We will need help with everything from organizing class materials, teaching lessons, leading out, gathering craft materials, to helping pack up each week.  Whatever you can do will bless each child’s life.  The timing for launching this will be mid-May as yours truly will be on vacation until May 11th cool smile .  I look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

Lucia Dexter grin

Its excellent to hear of your conviction Lucia! When God started Prayer Teams at 24-seven I was moved to write down a Strategy. How exactly would one team cause the next. It had immediate tasks to get things started as well as goals for a year and two years. As one who is working in kids ministries, I will be willing to cooperate with you as much as possible to set up systems for involvement and to plan what happens in the younger classes that will prepare the children to become warriors for God (spiritual) Our Goal in this should be to raise up youth who are passonate for God, do his will, and who are well informed. Here are some quotes that i found encouraging.

The Lord has appointed the youth to be His helping hand.--Testimonies, vol. 7, p. 64. {ChS 30.1}

Youthful talent, well organized and well trained, is needed in our churches. The youth will do something with their overflowing energies. Unless these energies are directed into right channels, they will be used by the youth in a way that will hurt their own spirituality, and prove an injury to those with whom they associate.-- Gospel Workers, p. 211. {ChS 30.4}

systematically laid out, in which they may take part, and let them be given instruction and help. Thus they will learn to work for God.--Gospel Workers, p. 210. {ChS 30.5}

Young men and young women, cannot you form companies, and, as soldiers of Christ, enlist in the work, putting all your tact and skill and talent into the Master’s service, that you may save souls from ruin? Let there be companies organized in every church to do this work. . . . Will the young men and young women who really love Jesus organize themselves as workers, not only for those who profess to be Sabbath keepers, but for those who are not of our faith?--Signs of the Times, May 29, 1893. {ChS 34.1}

“And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.” Romans 13:11

“I have set you as a light ... that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.” Acts 13:47
