Lisa,

I meant post the prayer requests in that thread rather than in this one hehee! I have a little pocket sized journal which now has a list of all the things I feel are important to pray for. It is nice having a list.

Hey 24-Seven Prayer Warriors,

Let’s not let this momentum die.  Let’s keep the dialog going and come up with a concrete plan to build this vital ministry.

God bless!

I have been into the prayer requests section and prayed for what is there, please take the time to do this as well, and leave prayer requests of your own.

It’s been a year since this thread started.  How about reviving these ideas?  Where are we at with this?

Hey All!

Ironically enough I am seeing that my last post (which was almost a year ago) listed a link to the 24/7 Prayer Movement (http://www.24-7prayer.com/).  I am reading a book called “Red Moon Rising” which chronicles how the 24-7 prayer movement began.  It is a must read!  (JESSE I AM GOING TO GET YOU A COPY IMMEDIATELY!.... hold me accountable!)

What would it look like if we created a prayer room where our church could pray for 24 hours a day, 7 days straight!?  I am feeling the call, are you?

Great minds…

I still can’t believe it’s already been a year on this thread.

I’m totally & absolutely in on anything we plan to bring our church together in prayer.  Jesse & Brenda’s prayer groups is a great start.  A 24 hour prayer revival would be sweet.  A prayer team before and/or during services would rock.  Let’s think God-sized on this & head into battle.

Three months later…

Ferguson’s prayer group is doing awesome (wish there was one in every part of the Seattle area) and we’re doing an all nighter this Saturday - Sunday (info here).

We have to work together to make sure we build momentum and never let this prayer movement slow down or stop.  Any ideas?

God bless!

Two at a Korean church near Star Lake WA.

That is so incredible!!!  God truly is good.  You and Brenda have been so instrumental in making this happen.  Thank you for your commitment, your passion, your dedication, and especially for allowing God to use you as He has.  I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you guys, 24-Seven, & the world in ‘08.

God bless!

Prayer Warriors!

Here are a couple prayer requests:

1 - Gayle’s meetings in Olympia.  They have a really good turn out of visitors and people are making decisions to accept Jesus.
2 - Tonight is the opening night of the Southeastern California Conference’s annual Jr./Sr. Bible Conference.  I am praying for revival to occur in the lives of the participants.  Also, I ask for prayer that God will give me the words that He would have me to say.

(SIDE NOTE:  I really think that we should create a new section that is dedicated just to prayer requests and answers to prayer!)

Blessings,

mwg

From Matthew:

I really think that we should create a new section that is dedicated just to prayer requests and answers to prayer!

That’s what I was saying earlier.  We should also have this as it’s own icon on the home page.

Blessings on your trip!

Matthew we prayed for your requests at our Thursday prayer team.

Update on Prayer team influences…
Our prayer team began a few months back. We moved to Thursday. We have been praying for more prayer teams...SEE?!

We spawned one at the Greenlake church, they had four people last time and are expecting six next time. They meet on Friday. Thx Robert C!

UW Students Stephanie and Veronica and Tiffany began one on Wednesday.

Hiewling started one on Tuesdays, so did pastor Gary in the far North side.

Dan Brown began a Sabbath one in Federal way
Jesse F started one Sabbath in Bellevue

A missionary visiting Michigan Attended one of 24-sevens out of town prayer meets and is starting one in EGYPT

One of our requests was for SYLVIA in Brazil. When she recovered from her Coma due to a prayer miracle with a healthy baby after one month of unconsciousness, she said she felt the effects of our prayers as she slept. She began a prayer team in Brazil and their first meet-up had 20 attendees.

Oh! My wonderful GOD! Your work is so exciting!

So we need to set our requests higher...BOLDER...More like a GOD vision.
New requests, so that its documented.

We desire Northend, South, Eastside, West and several around Seattle, prayer teams, to meet on EVERY SINGLE DAY OF THE WEEK.

We WILL...NO...we ARE having at least one 24-hour meetup every month. So far they have been at Steve Leddys home.
I will host some and others will too.
Vision for the 24-hour meets:  In no particular order our day together will be filled with the following…

>HOURS of passionate, intimate, sincere prayer. Petitions to our God, intercessory war, spiritual Battle.
>fellowship...accountability training, friending, stories from our lives, sharing our dreams night AND day!
>learning, how to give bible studies, witness, put together our testimonies, watch videos about the state of the world in relation to end time prophecy. Proof of the Genesis account as a correct narrative, faith building lessons
>Lifting up JESUS time. Bowing, singing, worshiping, adoring, thanking, loving...our fantastic LORD OF LORDS our friend, the powerful Jesus.
>Eating...w00t!
>COMMUNION and FOOT-WASHING done in a meaningful fashion
>Bible study and mini sermons and hair raising insights and stories from the mission fields of the world.
>a Walk or two outdoors.
>Games
>Baptisms with the holy spirit
>Recess
>Naps
>art class

These activities are not isolated to the 24-hour thingies

Also in the works.

WEEK OF PRAYER:
Different teams, groups, and citizens take shifts praying for several hours at a time so that prayer is going out for a solid week at a time. It may be a Washington conference thing, but I hope that we have the culture of prayer necessary in our church to do it as 24-seven. This does not mean that we will not involve the conference its just a hope about spiritual growth.

For Spiritual revival you need to start with one of these things then move to all of them.

Intercessory Prayer.
Bible Study.
Witnessing.

Lets dig in!
