Hi Everyone

Several people have indicated that they are interested in learning more about small groups here at 24-SEVEN. So, this week, Sept. 22, we will be holding a information session / leadership discovery session right after church (approximately 1:00 pm) at the BCC Cafeteria. The entire church is having a fellowship banquet after church and what we are planning for those interested in learning more about small groups and/or discovering your potential as a group leader / group host is for you to join me in the room on the right side of the Cafeteria. After you go through the banquet line just bring your food into the room and we will talk and share while we eat together.

We will model one type of small group for the first few minutes of our time together and the will take a look at various kinds of small groups. Then we will spend some time working through an individual leadership assessment and talk about the differences between being a group leader and hosting a small group.

Plan on about an hour including meal time. We should be finished around 2:15 so you can get on with the rest of your weekend.

For those of you that attend this week… if you discover that you are interested in hosting or leading a small group, then you will want to plan to join us again the following weekend for a second training session specifically for group leaders and group hosts.

If you are already leading one of our ongoing small groups, please plan to attend both weeks and also remember to e-mail me a brief paragraph describing what your group is all about.
