GET BIG… go small
When we look around at the world outside it is evident that bigger is better. Family owned hardware stores have been run over by Lowe’s and Home Depot; Wal-Mart wasn’t big enough so now we have Super Wal-Mart’s!
The church is no exception. We find mega-churches sprouting up all over the United States and the world. Many people wonder how some of these huge churches got so big. The bottom line is that many of the most successful churches today have grown because they were intimately concerned with every person that walked through their doors.
At 24-Seven, we believe in church growth, but we recognize that a church is not about numbers, but about people. Join us over the next two weeks (August 25 and September 1) as we begin a sermon tackle a sermon series entitled “GET BIG… go small.” In this series we will visit the book of Acts as we discover that the early church grow by thousands through small groups.
We will be meeting in the cafeteria of Bellevue Community College starting at 11:30am. Hope to see you there… shorty!

Hi there pastor G,
I was just wondering if any of your sermons “ GET BIG ...go small” would be online(this blog)? Cause I’m writing from the caribbean and I won’t be able to attend the meetings.
Posted by Jewel on August 22, 2007 at 04:27 PM | #Hey Jewel! Typically our sermons are posted within a week of preaching them. I will be preaching tomorrow (September 1) on this topic so be on the look out for it. Just go to the tab marked “media” and you will find a link there to access all of our sermons.
Blessings to you!
