ROMANS - the series

It’s finally here! We have been planning for such a long time to do an in depth series on the fascinating Book of Romans. We are in chapter two this Saturday.  We’re meeting in the cafeteria of Bellevue Community College (click for map). We start @ 10:15 a.m. for our Bible classes & 11:30 a.m. for our worship service.

This is a fantastic learning & growing opportunity for those exploring Christianity to those seasoned in their faith. Invite everyone you know & tell them to do the same - this really is a “Can’t Miss” event!

Comments:

“The letter to the Roman’s is a piece of exuberant and passionate thinking. This is the glorious life of the mind enlisted in the service of God. Paul takes the well-witnessed and devoutly believed fact of the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth and thinks through it’s implications. How does it happen that in the death and resurrection of Jesus, world history took a new direction, and at the same moment the life of every man, women, and child on the planet was eternally affected? What is God up to? What does it mean that Jesus saves?
What is behind all this, and where is it going?
These are the questions that drives Paul’s thinking.”

This quote is from Eugene Peterson’s introduction to Paul’s letter to the Roman’s. (Message Bible)

Thank you Matt, Steve and Gerry for doing this series.
