Our Pastors

Pastor Steve Leddy

Pastor Steve LeddyPastor Steve has lived in the greater Seattle area since 2002. Sure he'd like a bit more sun, but other than that he loves everything about Seattle. He and his wife Melissa have three totally awesome kids - Jordan, Tori, & Austin.

People who knew Steve in his late teens and early twenties are amazed that he is now a pastor. It’s a strong testament to the life changing power of God to bring someone like Steve – drugs, alcohol, dealing, etc. – to now be an ambassador of Christ and servant of the world.

His passion now is to help build effective churches that are accepting of where people are, exciting as we have fun together and watch the power of God work on and through him, and growing as we’re being honest and real with one another.

Steve and Melissa have been starting new churches for the last eleven years, primarily aimed at connecting the Bible in relevant and meaningful ways to young adults and youth (and those young at heart.) Their first three church plants were in the Midwest. They are thrilled to now be a part of 24-Seven Ministry Center.

The way God has prepared them, and the vision He has placed on their hearts for serving Seattle and for this church is so powerful and exciting; According to Steve, they've never experienced anything like it! They truly hope God has placed them here for the long haul. They love the people here & God definitely has something extraordinary planned for everyone involved with 24-Seven.

Pastor Matthew Gamble

Pastor Matthew GambleMatthew Gamble was born and raised Catholic but became an atheist at the age of 14. Having become fascinated by the Rastafarian religion Matthew found himself, at the age of 19, on the island of Jamaica. He soon began smuggling marijuana into Miami, Florida. It was shortly after this time that God lead him to a Christian pastor who, after hearing his story, handed him a Bible. As he began exploring the teachings of Jesus, his life began to be transformed from inside out. Since that time he has received a BA in theology as well as a Masters of Divinity from Andrews University. He is presently working towards a Doctorate in Ministry with an emphasis in the Emerging Church specifically looking at trends of effective communicators of the Gospel in a postmodern culture.

Matthew has a passion for preaching from God's Word. He has had the opportunity to return back to Jamaica to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Not to mention preaching in Canada, Mexico, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Haiti, China, Costa Rica, Bermuda, Australia, Hungary and all over the United States. Matthew also volunteers as a Community Chaplain with the Seattle Police Department.

Matthew's passions include skate/surf/snowboarding, photography, travel, people and golf.

He is ecstatically married to the former Susan Mentges, his college sweet heart. She is attending Medical School at the University of Washington.
