Blue Mountain Academy | Week of Spiritual Emphasis

This week I am at Blue Mountain Academy in Hamburg, PA.  I will be here all week speaking every afternoon and evening to the student body.  This is my second day and I am already feelin’ the love.

Yesterday we started by simply leveling the playing field.  What I mean by this is that before we get down into the life and teachings of Jesus, my goal is to help people to recognize that they do have a need for Jesus.  Where is this found?  In my opinion every human can relate with the Apostle Paul’s statement that “the things that I don’t want to do, I do.  And the things that I want to stop doing is the every thing that I keep doing.” This basic human experience is also known as sin.  The Bible defines sin as “to the person who knows to do right, but doesn’t do it, to that person it is a sin.”

Ultimately Jesus died for our sin issues.  Beyond that, Jesus wants to restore in us His own Spirit so that we actually become like Jesus as He lives His good and perfect will out in our lives.

I am looking forward to the remainder of the week.  Prayers ascend that Jesus shows up in powerful ways!

We have really enjoyed your talks, don’t ever stop being honest and real, because we all need to hear these issues, and stop pushing them under the rug and pretending our kids aren’t affected.  God bless you and your wife.

He Matthew Gambel,

Thank you so much for coming to BMA, Our student body has a short term memory span usually. But when you told your testimony thursday night, that was the most I’ve seen the student body engrossed. I am a four year senior and I thank you for coming to my last focus week. I will never forget it it. Thank you for bring it down a level and not holding back on what needs to be said.

Hey All!  Thank you for the kind words and comments.

Brad, unfortunately Google Checkout is the process of getting us back up to speed with accepting online donations.  It has been a frustrating process as we have received a lot of donations through Google Checkout in the past.  Hopefully it will be back up and running again soon.

In the meantime, tax-deductible donations can be made to:

VagaBondservant Int’l
23 Charlton Hill
Hamden, CT 06518

Thank you for your interest and support!
